THRILLING! BRILLIANT!

Explosive and gritty! A flash movie tour de force!

Bbqbeefburgerman responds:

That tends to happen sometimes.

Very good

I liked the katanas and animes.

Next time please try and make it longer@!

PirateClock responds:

I will when Linkin Park makes a longer song!

It is pitch black.

You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

RupeeClock responds:

To please be explaining what a grue is that would be awesome.

Leek

Leek.

You're so much better than me.

At everything.

Why.

I feel like the character who nobley sacrifices himself just before LeekClock walks into the room and defeats the antagonist.
And then Leek modestly says he couldn't have done it without my sacrifice. Though I amounted to NOTHING.
And you are the only one who visits my grave, Leek. The only one.

Well played.

I can't say I'm fond of nor trusting in your intentions with this Anti-clock day business, considering not only has it been done at least twice before, with F-day and Albino's AntiClock Day, but you've got quite the saddle in Newgrounds, and you should have known that. To me, the whole ordeal has never seemed like anything more than a self-aware ego boost under the guise of a lack of intent, and I wasn't happy with our fanning the flames.

So, though I often play diplomat for the Clock Crew, as a matter of principal, I wanted to avoid giving you a high-scoring review for the sake of saving face.
I managed that. After watching this, however, I felt the need to let you know that you're a suburb flashsmith, a better artist and animator than I and a majority of clocks, and that I will find you and mutilate your hands so you can never do this again.

With love and begrudging admiration,

Oh fucking yes

God, it's like no matter what, I'm never gonna stop loving this series. Flash animations advance farther and farther, and Joe Zombie always keeps in step, both in scope and presentation.

The gradient useage was a little fuzzy, but it's more than made up for in the cinematics. Seriously, you've got talent for visualizing and executing shots and scenes that's not often seen. You're better than some Hollywood directors I could name.

You just take as long as you need to on this series, because you always, ALWAYS deliver.

Awesome.

The final fantasy music kind of took away from the overall presentation, but overall this was really, really good.
You have a great eye for cinematics, and you're obviously a talented artist as well. The character design was a welcome turn from the hackneyed anime crap that way too many flash authors use. It kind of recalled the concept sketches for characters in Naughty Dog's Jak & Daxter series.

Seriously, avoiding any nitpicking with the art and anatomy, the sound was the only downside. I liked that the timing of the animation went along with the music; I know that can be a pain in the ass to do right, but the music just didn't feel appropriate. My advice is to look into soundtracks. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath OST is free for download if you look for it, and it's mood fits your style, in my opinion. Crimson Tide, The Patriot, and Myst 3: Exile are all musical score stand-bys for flash artists of your high calibur.

Solid.

People like to look down upon stick animations, but they can make for some great popcorn flash, which is the case here. The choice of music was good, the animation was fluid and showed an understanding of weight and movement, and it didn't feel at all restricted. My only gripe is more of a pet peeve, and that's that the movie put itself forward a little bit too much. The presentation; the logo, the credits with the little rocket ships; it made the movie out to be a lot more than it was, which was a flash about some sticks trying to break open a box. I liked that you could skip the logo, though. Thanks for that.

quis custodiet ipsos custodes
